Cooling and climate systems
Contour has a broad experience in designing climate and cooling systems for specific customer solutions. Our systems are engineered in such a way they provide direct value for our end users. These solutions are usually custom tailored in two important aspects: (1) available mounting space and (2) the external condition in which the system must be able to operate. Additionally customers often have specific functional requirements.
The cooling and climate systems delivered by Contour, are delivered to both industrial and public sector customers.

Mounting space
The available mounting space is an important aspect in designing cooling and climate systems for mobile applications. For example, Contour develops climate systems for mobile MOD applications. These units must meet NATO requirements, and can be mounted in containers, data centers, laboratories, mobile hospitals or shelters. In every case the maximization of functional space is paramount, this is achieved by minimizing the space occupied by infrastructural systems such as the climate and cooling system.
External conditions
Dimensions are not the only limiting factor to mobility. The external conditions in which the systems must be able to operate are an additional factor. The solutions developed by Contour can be deployed in almost any environmental condition; from the North Pole to the equator. Additionally, especially the systems intended for MOD purposes, must meet environmental requirements (shock, vibration and drop tests, camouflage, etc.).
Additional requirements
Generally speaking, energy efficiency of cooling systems has become ever more important to our end users. Both economic and environmental advantages are achieved by focusing on energy efficiency. Additionally, requirements concerning modularity, extendibility, and redundancy have become increasingly important elements in final product specifications.
