Within general metalworking, sheet metal processing is the collection of operations that turn sheet metal into finished products. This includes production steps such as laser cutting, bending, and welding.
At Contour, we have a particularly large number of sheet metal operations in-house. We can do our own powder coating, cleanroom cleaning, and pickling and passivating. That makes us unique in the Netherlands. External outsourcing and in-between transport are usually not necessary. This enables us to keep quality high, costs low, and lead times short.

Our factory staff are used to working for customers in diverse sectors. Every sector has its own specific requirements for the product and its accompanying documentation. This calls for an experienced team capable of correctly interpreting product, usage, and TPD.
MAATWERK IN PLAATWERK
We work as much as possible from general work instructions. However, for some sheet metal products, the standard is not sufficient. We apply customized solutions in collaboration with our customers. During the NPI process, the production method is worked out in detail.
