On Sunday 20 November the time had finally come. After a few years in a scaled-down form, Contour and Contour Advanced Systems were able to celebrate their Sinterklaas party, the Dutch Saint Nicholas celebration, in the traditional way again.
The children of the employees of Contour and Contour Advanced Systems were thrilled. They sat on the benches singing loudly while they waited for the Good Saint and his head Pieten (his chief helpers). The hall was nicely decorated, and there were bowls of pepernoten and speculaas, traditional spiced biscuits, everywhere.
All the children were called up to Sinterklaas and received their gifts. They still had to wait with unwrapping until everyone had a gift, which was quite a challenge. In the end, the gifts could finally be unwrapped! All in all, a very successful party.
