Retraining as a welder or CNC operator in the metal industry
At Contour, you can learn a trade. No metalworking diploma? No problem! In our professionally organized company, we can retrain you by training you in-house. There are also various course options, or you can start a BBL apprenticeship (BBL, a work-study apprenticeship with an employment contract). Besides metal, you can also work in logistics with us.
To help you find your way around the company, you get a “buddy” whom you can ask questions. You start working in the department right away. Your colleagues make sure that you get an explanation of what is expected. They make sure that you learn the finer points of the trade.
Examples of these jobs are welder, CNC operator, press brake operator, sheet metal worker or logistics employee.

If you already have work experience, we can help you find a position that matches it. From there, you can get to know the company step by step and then be trained for various metalworking operations.
