A look at our departments
We are proud of Contour, so we would like to show you the company! Our colleagues have filmed almost every department and process. Watch the videos below to see how we work. In order, you see the departments that the production of a sheet metal product typically passes through.
Sheet metal processing in the sheet metal center
In the sheet metal center, the large metal sheets that we purchase are cut into the right shapes. We do this with automatic lasers and punch lasers. Once the metal parts are cut, additional operations follow, such as deburring, press brake bending, rolling, spot welding, stud welding, drilling, tapping and pressing.

Welding
Next, the parts from the sheet metal center are welded together in various assemblies. Welding can be done by hand or with our welding robot. The weld seams are ground flat. On stainless steel products, a grinding direction can be added.

Powder coating in the paint shop
The sheet metal parts from the sheet metal center and the welding shop can be given a powder coating. The paint is applied to the metal products in powder form. In an oven, the powder melts into a hard, well-adhering coat of paint in the right color.

Assembly and cleanroom assembly
In the Assembly department, all parts are put together into larger assemblies. All purchased parts and the parts produced in the other departments come together here.

Logistics and shipping
All incoming goods must be brought at the right time to the departments where they are needed. Until then, the products are stored in the warehouse. Between operations, products must be collected and taken to the right destination. When all production steps are complete, the products are packed in the right way. The products are shipped to our customers according to schedule.
