Colleagues at Contour made their own video about bending on our press brake with 130,000 kg of pressing force: their own initiative, with no film crew or ad agency.
In this video, you follow a flat sheet of metal through our factory in Winterswijk, from the first cut until it leaves as a finished product.
September was another festive month at Contour, with 3 anniversaries. Aren and Sander each marked 5 years with us and received a tasty Achterhoek gift box.
After a full 45 years of service, Han's last working day had arrived. Now he is officially enjoying his well-earned free time.
Contour has put an extra Haeger 824 PEM inserter with two automatic feed bowls into use. That brings us to four PEM inserters.
Contour has two ABB GoFa welding cobots from RobWelding in use. Our welders program the cobot themselves and switch quickly between products and series.
Contour is putting a new Trumpf TruBend 7050 into use. With full ERP and MES integration, we increase capacity and flexibility.
We are proud to present the newest addition to our fleet of machines: the Trumpf TruLaser Center L26 laser cutting machine with automatic sorting.
It has been very busy at Contour lately, partly because of the aftermath of the very successful Techniekdag Achterhoek. Behind the scenes, we have been busy with all sorts of things.
With new industrial batteries, Contour adds 522 kWh of storage capacity. This lets us store our own solar energy, for example for the powder coating oven.
