At Contour, we are taking another good step in the energy transition: with our new industrial batteries, we add no less than 522 kWh of storage capacity. This lets us store our own solar energy smartly and make maximum use of renewable energy in our own production process.
We later use the stored energy for our recently electrified hybrid powder coating oven, among other things. This makes our production more sustainable and eases the load on the power grid, and it creates room for growth in the region.
Practical, forward-looking and smart use of the energy we generate ourselves: exactly how we like to do things at Contour. Together with Kremer, we are currently finishing this installation.
