At Contour, we keep investing in modern production technology. This week we put our new Trumpf TruBend 7050 into use. With this expansion, we increase our capacity and take another step in the further automation of our production.
The TruBend 7050 is designed for fast and accurate bending of small and medium-sized products. Thanks to the integrated ACB Laser angle measuring system, angles are checked and corrected automatically during bending. This shortens setup time and means products can be made to the right quality straight away.
Just as important to us is that our employees can work with the machine comfortably and efficiently. The TruBend 7050 has an ergonomic design, is quick to set up and supports the operator in making a wide range of products. When we invest, we therefore look not only at capacity but also at technology that makes daily work easier.
Even before the machine was fully operational, our team completed the integration with our ERP and MES system. Our own Contour CNC Toolkit was also set up right away, so CNC programs are managed automatically and are available to the machine in the right way. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated colleagues, the new press brake was already running at production pace in the week of delivery.
With this investment, we continue to build a modern production environment in which technology, digitalization and craftsmanship go hand in hand. This lets us keep growing with our customers’ demand and makes sure our employees can work with the best-suited technologies.
