A new step in production innovation at Contour!
We are proud to present the latest addition to our machinery: the Tube 3000 tube laser from Trumpf Nederland. This investment strengthens our position as a full-service metalworking company and allows us to carry out even more operations in-house.
The Tube 3000 is equipped with a spatter guard module. This technology keeps the tubes free of burrs and laser spatter during cutting, on the inside of the tube as well. With the integrated bevel cut technology, we can make precise angled cuts, which offers great design freedom.
For logistics, we deliberately chose a chain conveyor instead of a bundle loader, which fits perfectly with our focus on flexibility and efficiency for smaller series.
This expansion fits seamlessly into our strategy of keeping the entire machining process under our own control. By now performing the laser machining of tubes ourselves, we can:
- achieve shorter lead times
- keep costs under better control
- respond even more flexibly to customer wishes
- ensure consistent quality
It is precisely the combination of different operations under one roof that increases our added value for customers. In the coming years we will keep investing in technology that contributes to more efficient production processes!
