Hands-on internship
In our welding department we work with thin sheet metal made of stainless steel, steel and aluminum for high-tech customers. We use the most modern equipment and apply a range of welding techniques. During this internship you work as a colleague in the department, supported by the team.
TIG, MIG/MAG, CMT and TPS/i: we have it all in house. Where possible, we also work with robots that the welders program themselves. A good example is our welding robot and the grinding cobot that the colleagues in your future team implemented themselves.
Our customers use the products you work on in chip machines, hospital equipment and many other applications. High-quality work, in other words! Because we always make different products, no day is the same for you.

Internship allowance
If you do an internship at Contour, you receive an appropriate allowance for it. The amount of the internship allowance is based on your level of education, year of study and the duration of your internship, and on any guidelines from your school.
Recognized training company
Contour is a training company recognized by SBB (the Dutch organization for cooperation between vocational education and industry). We provide a good and safe workplace. As a student, you are assigned a personal workplace trainer who supervises you during the BBL apprenticeship.

Are you enthusiastic about this internship, are you a hands-on person, and can you work well in a team? Are you enrolled in an MBO program for welder, sheet metal worker, metal fabricator or similar? Then we would like to meet you!
Personal development
Marciano started at Contour as a summer temp. Because that went well, he was then given a BBL apprenticeship at Contour. Marciano says that this was a whole new challenge for him, with the hope of being able to keep working at Contour for a longer period. That hope came true. He has since developed into a shift leader in the CNC bending department.

Contour supplies specialist sheet metal parts, mainly for the high-tech industry. Think of parts for chip machines, medical equipment and logistics systems. With approx. 200 FTE in Winterswijk, we are a well-organized and innovative company. We have a modern machine park, our own powder coating installation and even a cleanroom.
