Hands-on internship
The logistics department is responsible for Contour’s flows of goods. During the hands-on logistics internship you work together with our experienced team to keep all these flows of goods on track. Supported by the team, you work as a full colleague. Because we are a manufacturing company, you deal with all kinds of different logistics processes.

Internship allowance
If you do an internship at Contour, you receive an appropriate allowance for it. The amount of the internship allowance is based on a comparison with other technical companies in the region and on any guidelines from the school.
Recognized training company
Contour is a training company recognized by SBB (the Dutch organization for cooperation between vocational education and industry). We provide a good and safe workplace. As a student, you are assigned a personal workplace trainer who supervises you during the BBL apprenticeship (a work-study apprenticeship with an employment contract).
Modern & digital
Contour is a modern company. All flows of goods are tracked and controlled with our company software. Special apps have been built for the logistics department. These apps control and record all logistics operations. Large dashboards in the department show which tasks still need to be done. The forklifts and stackers are equipped with tablets and barcode scanners.
Thanks to this digital way of working, our planners and production departments can see exactly whether all materials are available for the production operations. We also know exactly which products have already been shipped to our customers.

Personal development
Marciano started at Contour as a summer temp. Because that went well, he was then given a BBL apprenticeship at Contour. Marciano says that this was a whole new challenge for him, with the hope of being able to keep working at Contour for a longer period. That hope came true. He has since developed into a shift leader in the CNC bending department.

Contour supplies specialist sheet metal parts, mainly for the high-tech industry. Think of parts for chip machines, medical equipment and logistics systems. With approx. 200 FTE in Winterswijk, we are a well-organized and innovative company. We have a modern machine park, our own powder coating installation and even a cleanroom.
