You are the one who makes sure our products get the perfect finish
The role
As a powder coater in our paint shop in Winterswijk, you always work on different products, for different customers and to different standards. You are responsible for the right coating on our products.
You start your day by reading the work orders. Operations that follow include degreasing, filling and masking. Before you start, you first set up the spray gun and/or the spray robot. You spray the large majority by hand with a spray gun. Together with your direct colleagues, you are responsible for the settings of the degreasing bath, the water dryer and the oven temperature.
You also discuss the best hanging method with your colleagues in the department. You check products against the Contour quality standards, among other things (visually and by measuring coating thickness).
We also find it important to rotate within the department, so you become versatile in the department. This means a lot of variety for you.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a flexible employee who knows how to get stuck in. The work can sometimes be physically demanding. We are looking for someone who is collegial, accurate, works meticulously and is eager to learn.
VMBO/MBO level.
Some experience as a powder coater or wet painter is a plus.
Being able to read drawings, work orders and work instructions.
Affinity with technology and sheet metal.

As a powder coater, you work closely with a friendly team. Our paint shop is responsible for the “finishing touch” of our products. Here they receive a nice, even powder coating layer in a color of your choice that protects against scratches and rust, among other things. The products hang on our 100-meter-long line. Once the powder coating layer has been applied, they go through our new hybrid oven to cure the coating.
